Behind the Scenes | Shooting Elisa Palomino SS12 for Lionheart Magazine
Last month I had the pleasure of directing my very first fashion photoshoot. If you are a keen follower of my blog, you will already know of my huge admiration for the designs of Elisa Palomino, whose stunning garments my team and I had the privilege to work with.
Shooting for Lionheart magazine‘s ‘Warmth’ issue, I wanted to create scenes that depicted a bohemian, fairy-tale like world that exuded the warmth and fervor of nature – scenes that were evocative of pre Raphaelite paintings. When you see the final images in the next issue of Lionheart Magazine, I hope you’ll agree that we succeeded in doing justice to the brief and to Elisa Palomino‘s beautiful SS12 collection.
It’s not everyday that you get to work with such wonderful and talented people and those who completely understand your vision, and I am delighted to say that this was one of those days. I would like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to an incredible team:
And a special thank you to my dear friend Margaret Davidson of Penny Dreadful Vintage, who welcomed us into her home, ridiculously early on a Saturday morning, so that we could prep for the shoot.
