So I wouldn’t consider myself a trendsetter or a fashionista, but I do love clothes and am increasingly becoming more and more curious about fashion and its history. And though I rarely purchase lifestyle or fashion magazines, in the past year, I have indulged in reading and following contemporary and vintage fashion blogs and online magazines.

And from them all, Amelia’s Magazine stands out for its unique content, perspectives and beautiful design. Amelia’s Magazine gives fashion something, which I believed it was void of – a heart. The woman behind it all, the magazine’s namesake Amelia Gregory is obviously passionate about environmental and ethical issues which affect all of us and these issues permeate each and every one of the articles on the website.

Of course, Amelia’s magazine doesn’t just cover fashion and the Earth and the environment, but also art and music and all with the unique Amelia’s Magazine touch. What I absolutely love about the website is the sheer aesthetic indulgence you get with every post. Every article includes a beautiful illustration(s) or photograph(s) by one of the many talented contributors of the magazine. Amelia’s magazine gives illustration a renewed lease of life and the chance to appreciate fashion illustration as serious art. In fact, I would go as far as saying that the entire magazine is a piece of art.

And now you can have a piece of that art to keep! Amelia’s Magazine brings us Amelia’s Compendium of Fashion Illustration – ‘the best illustration from Amelia’s Magazine alongside the best new ethical fashion designers, all in a gorgeous coffee table book with a stunning pearlised cover designed by the Arizona based artist Andrea Peterson.’ (Amelia’s Magazine) Available to buy here. Now, I don’t have a coffee table but I would invest in one just to adorn it with and show off a copy of this gorgeous book!
